Limerick Township has added climbing ladders to the towers at the rebuilt Manderach Memorial Playground, giving children another way to reach the slides following concerns raised by residents.
Township Manager Dan Kerr told the board of supervisors Tuesday evening that the ladders were installed Monday.
The change came after residents commented following the playground's grand opening that access to some of the slides was limited to rope climbing features.
"We heard folks about the access to the slides, so we've addressed that," Supervisor Patrick Morroney said. "Thanks for those that spoke up."
