The Hidden Gem Gentlemen's Club in Spring City appears to be out of operation, with an expired liquor license, disconnected phone number, and no response from the property's owner despite multiple attempts to reach him.
The club, located at 458 S. Main Street, sits in a largely residential neighborhood near the Gay Street access to the Schuylkill River Trail and the Spring City boat launch.
According to Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board records, the liquor license for the property expired in March. The license is held by Kar Business Ventures, Inc., whose president is listed in state business records as John Sullo.
A phone number previously associated with the business has been disconnected, and one email address connected to the club is no longer active. Spring-Ford Press also sent a message to another email address listed on the club's Facebook page but did not receive a response.
Calls and messages to Sullo's personal phone number went unanswered.
The club's Facebook page has not been updated since June 2025. Signs posted outside the building and on the front door state the business was expected to reopen in October 2025.
According to Chester County property records, the property was purchased in 2014 by Spring City Holdings, Inc. Public business filings list Sullo as the company's president.
The club has operated under different names over the years, including Baby Dolls and Pumptown, before becoming the Hidden Gem Gentlemen's Club.
It is unclear whether the closure is temporary or permanent.
