Spring City Music & Market Festival Set for Saturday

Spring City’s Main Street will be filled with live music, food, local vendors ,and family activities Saturday, October 3, during the annual Spring City Music & Market Festival.

The rain-or-shine event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is organized by the Spring City Parks & Recreation Committee, a volunteer borough committee led by council members Matt Handley and Sara Woll.

Main Street will be closed for the festival, which will feature two stages of live music throughout the day.

The Gem Music Hall stage will feature Eve K. Woll from 11 to 11:45 a.m., Waltzy from noon to 12:45 p.m., and MJT from 3 to 4 p.m. The George’s Music stage will feature Audrey and Friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. and C4 from 2 to 2:45 p.m.

Activities will also include a bounce house provided by Beanie Bounce Party Rentals and mobile axe throwing from Splitting Edge. Food and beer will be available for sale.

Dozens of local businesses, organizations, artists, and other vendors are expected to participate, including Tuned Up Brewing Company, Three Brothers Grill, Spring City Public Library, and American Legion Post 602.

Spring City Police, Liberty Fire Company, Friendship Ambulance, and borough emergency management personnel will assist with the event.

No parking will be permitted on Main Street between New Street and Hall Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday because of the festival.
