After nearly two years, the Spring City Hotel restaurant is preparing to welcome customers back to its dining room.

The longtime Main Street establishment, located at 88 N. Main Street, will officially reopen on Sunday, October 18, at 3 p.m., according to an announcement shared on social media.

The reopening marks a new chapter for the historic establishment, which was previously operated by Bill and Debbie Hoffman for more than 40 years. The Hoffmans announced their retirement from the restaurant business in December 2024, saying they planned to spend more time with family. They continue to own the property.

The reopening comes amid a wave of new business activity along Spring City's Main Street, including Punch Buggy Brewing Company, Alisan Road Mercantile, and the recently reopened Tuned Up Brewery. Spring City Coffee is also expected to open in early 2027.

Executive Chef Tim Diable will lead the restaurant's kitchen, offering a new menu that combines familiar favorites with new dishes.

Diable, a 2016 graduate of L'Academie de Cuisine, plans to bring back some of the restaurant's popular comfort foods, including Chicken Kiev.

"After months of hard work, preparation, and anticipation, we're finally ready to welcome everyone!" the restaurant announced on Facebook.

Following its reopening, Spring City Hotel will operate Thursday through Monday, opening daily at 3 p.m. Closing time will be midnight on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays, and 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

"We want to sincerely thank everyone for their patience, encouragement, and continued support throughout this journey," the restaurant shared. "We couldn't have done it without our amazing community!"
