A wide range of local artists and makers will gather at Royersford Commons this Saturday for a pop-up craft show.

More than 40 local vendors will participate in the event, set for April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 624 Main Street in Royersford. The indoor craft show is free and open to the public.

Organizers said interest in the show was high, with more than 100 vendors expressing interest in participating. The final lineup was selected to fit the available space, with all participants now confirmed.

“We had more than 100 vendors express interest and it was a challenge to narrow them down,” organizers shared on social media. “There are so many talented makers in the area.”

Local Makers Prepare to Connect

Vendors say they’re looking forward to engaging directly with the community and sharing their work in person.

Artist Liora Atelier said she's excited to share her creations because they're driven by a deeper purpose.

“Every painting and hand-crocheted blanket I create is rooted in faith and made to bring warmth, comfort, and a sense of peace to others,” she said.

For Dana Schwartz of Schwartz & Sprinkles Cakes, the event carries a personal connection to the area.

“We are most looking forward to connecting with people face to face and others getting to experience the love we put into our cakes that you can taste from the first bite,” Schwartz said. “My husband, Jerry, grew up here in town and this is the town where our business started, so we are so grateful to be a part of this event.”

Becki Kehler, who launched The Gingerbread Cookie Co. in 2023 after years of baking for friends and family, said she’ll be bringing a mix of seasonal treats.

“For this event, I will be bringing cookies decorated for Teacher Appreciation Week, as well as Mother’s Day,” Kehler said. “I’ll also have a selection of decorated and undecorated cookies for purchase.”

Kehler added that she’s looking forward to meeting new customers and connecting with fellow vendors.

“I look forward to expanding my network among other makers and meeting new friendly faces who enjoy cookies,” she said.

Event Details and Parking

The event will take place indoors at Royersford Commons, making it a rain-or-shine gathering. Organizers said ample parking is available behind the building, along Main Street, and throughout surrounding streets within a short walk.

The craft show follows a two-day art event held in March that drew significant foot traffic to Royersford Commons and the surrounding downtown area.

According to the property owner, more than 1,000 people attended the event, with several hundred present at peak times. The event also generated $31,000 through art sales and donations, while drawing visitors into nearby restaurants and shops.

With a full slate of vendors and a mix of handmade goods, baked items, and crafts, Saturday's craft show offers residents an opportunity to support local makers in a single, walkable setting.
