Love to Sprinkle Bakery opened its newest location in January and closed in February.

A local bakery that began in Spring City last year has closed its storefront in Royersford just weeks after opening, though the owner says the business will continue operating through custom orders.

Love to Sprinkle Bakery opened its newest location on Jan. 17 at 200 Main Street in Royersford, but the brick-and-mortar shop closed in February. A “For Rent” sign is already posted at the property, which was previously home to Velvet Luxe Salon.

The bakery first launched in January 2025 on North Main Street in Spring City, where the business initially established its presence in the local community. The shop underwent renovations the following month before operating there for much of the year.

In October 2025, the owner announced plans to relocate the bakery to Royersford, about a half-mile from the Spring City location. The move placed the business in a new storefront along Royersford’s Main Street corridor.

However, the Royersford storefront operated for only a short time before closing. Despite the closure, signage and branding for Love to Sprinkle remain visible at both the Royersford and former Spring City locations.

In a Feb. 23 Facebook post, the bakery’s owner said the physical shop has closed but the business itself is continuing.

“Although our storefront is closed, our kitchen is not,” the post stated. “I am still here. I am still baking. And I am still taking orders.”

According to the post, the bakery plans to continue offering specialty items such as graduation cakes, Easter bread, and Easter cupcakes through custom orders.

The owner also reflected on the challenges of operating the business and reaffirmed a commitment to continuing the work.

“This business is built on passion, resilience, and heart — and I’m not done yet,” the post said.

While the Royersford storefront has closed, the future of a physical location for the bakery remains unclear. In the meantime, the business appears to be continuing through its order-based baking operation.
