A commemorative beer brewed for Limerick's 300th anniversary will be sold at township events in 2026, officials said during the March 17 Board of Supervisors meeting.
Township Manager Dan Kerr said the beer is being produced through a collaboration between the Limerick Fire Department and Hares Hill Brewing Company, with proceeds supporting tricentennial events planned for later this year.

The beer initiative is one of several efforts underway as the township prepares to mark its 300th anniversary in 2026. Officials said fundraising and sponsorships are intended to help offset event costs.
Kerr reported that local businesses have already begun contributing to the effort. Dunkin’ has committed $10,000 as a sponsor, and Wawa has expressed interest in participating with giveaways and refreshments at upcoming events.
